Polo Fun at Hunt Club

Gold’s Dragoons (in red) prevailed today over longtime rival Squadron A at the Fairfield County Hunt Club’s newly renamed Tommy Glynn Invitational Polo Cup. The match, preceded by a day of family fun, benefitted the Bridgeport Hospital Foundation’s REACH program, an outpatient psychiatric program for adolescents 5-17 years old. Squadron A was formed in New York City in 1889. Gold’s Dragoons, a Westport-based social and commemorative society, commemorates Nathan Gold’s horse cavalry unit formed in Fairfield in 1660.
