Saturday is Pink Day for the Staples Girls varsity soccer, which invites the community to watch them play Darien at 4 p.m. at Staples Loeffler Field.
Players will wear pink socks and hold a bake sale to benefit the Norwalk Hospital Whittingham Cancer Center.
Staples is 8-2-2 this year while Darien is 6-2-3. The Wreckers are seeking a birth in the FCIAC Tournament. Staples is currently fourth in conference play.
The junior varsity team will play at 4:15 p.m. at Wakeman B Field.
