This was a shame, 23 of 27 said it all. But the need for 24 out of 36 was almost impossible since this is the biggest vacation week and only 27 RTMs were there.
I watched on TV and it was clear that giving the P&Z a second shot at evaluating the text was needed. There was nothing to lose by doing so. Giving the citizens of this town the opportunity to voice their concerns should always come first.
At the heart of this matter is the manipulation of our regulations by the same individuals who will benefit by it. The same lawyers and developers come back time and again to P&Z to have their way and the results are clear. The town is being over developed and now the need for affordable housing will be used without the benefit it was meant to produce.
