Opening Reception for ‘Art to the Max’

The Westport Historical Society tonight hosted a reception marking the opening of its exhibit “Art to the Max” featuring original art that graced the windows of the now shuttered Max’s Art Supplies from 1975 to 2014. Curators were Westport artists Nina Bentley (c) and Miggs Burroughs (r) who posed with Max’s owner Shirley Mellor. A portrait of her late husband, Max Kaplan, is at right.
