Members of the Mill River Band get together backstage tonight with members of the Westport Young Woman’s League before the band’s Levitt Pavilion performance. Carleigh Welsh (4th r), the Levitt’s marketing and development director, said: “We call the Mill River Band the Levitt Pavilion’s ‘house band’ and tonight’s sponsor, the Westport Young Woman’s League, is an organization that helped build that house back in the early 70s. The WYWL was one of the first organizations to get behind the idea that would go on to become the Levitt Pavilion, and they have supported us every year since .When building the new Levitt Pavilion, they awarded us the first ever $10,000 super grant.” (CLICK TO ENLARGE) Contributed photo
