Bear wants to frolic with his forever family. Westport Animal Control
Bear is a neutered, three-year-old “maltese-teacup poodle mix” per his pet store documentation. For the first time in his life, this little fellow is getting to be a real dog. If he knew how to do cartwheels, he would be doing them all over Winslow Park to celebrate being in a loving foster home. He is no longer crated all day and goes on fun doggie outings with his foster mom and furry foster siblings. He is spunky, friendly, and is trying to make up for three years of missed belly rubs. Bear is up-to-date on shots and is housebroken. WASA is looking to place this dog in an adult home or a home with older children. As Bear has finally been sprung from his crate, he cannot be placed in a home where he will be crated during the day. Bear’s new owner should have previous small breed dog experience too. An adoption application and home visit will be part of Bear’s adoption procedure.
