Lynsey Addario: ‘I’m Always Petrified’

Westport’s prize-winning photographer Lynsey Addario appeared at a Save the Children fundraiser in Greenwich tonight and was asked by Carolyn Miles, president and CEO of the nonprofit, if she’s ever been scared snapping her acclaimed war zone photographs. Addario responded, “I’m often asked that question and let me make it clear—I’m always petrified.” The event was a benefit for the Greenwich Leadership Council of Fairfield-based Save the Children.
