LLers Off to See the Governor

Westport’s Little League World Series team got dressed up late today to head off from White Field to Hartford to meet Gov. Dannel P. Malloy. The governor invited the team to the governor’s mansion to congratulate them on their successes. The team also accepted an invitation from the Boston Red Sox to be guests at Saturday’s game at Fenway Park against the Toronto Blue Jays. (CLICK TO ENLARGE) Dave Matlow for WestportNow.com
