To the Editor:
I would like to take a moment to offer praise to the many vigilant homeowners in my neighborhood who stand guard against the risk of a leaf crashing into their lawn.
As I try to work from my home office, I am reminded forcefully of their unceasing efforts.
To me, it is truly the sound of responsible citizenship.
