Inn at National Hall Says Goodbye to Last Guests

Westport’s Inn at National Hall said goodbye to its last guests today for the indefinite future. A sign in the lobby summed up the staff’s feeling about orders to close down the luxury hotel pending transfer of ownership. Marco Degl’Innocenti, the inn’s resident manager for 13 years, said the checkouts were without fanfare and the building will be closed at 4 p.m. today.
