what another great night of wrecker football.I hope all the residents of high point road had a quite nite at home. Thanks for the home game in wilton under the lights. Thanks highpoint for supporting are local highschool……………………Your the best
Jeff, maybe I can shed some light on your comment:
I think you meant quiet not quite
I think you meant our not are
I think you meant you
His grammar may be faulty, but his point is not. This is the kind of game that should be under the lights IN Westport, rallying the community behind its kids to cheer them on.
Wonderful semi final! Looking forward to seeing the final! Soccer and Football and the fine performance of Staples young men and women in all fall sports and activities have certainly kicked off what promises to be another stellar year of achievement.
However choosing a field for FCIAC and CIAC games is a more complicated affair than simply having night lighting. For those interested in when and whether championship games will be played at Staples the following link might begin to provide missing information <<http://www.casciac.org/tournament_packets/fb0910.pdf>>
The Staples English Department <<http://shs.westport.k12.ct.us/staples/english/english_department.html>> supports the athletes and encourages good grammar and spelling in all communications from present students as well as graduates. We are proud of the ways in which you represent our efforts.
Get a life Joe……………..
How many Westporters know that our Wreckers had to be bussed to Wilton for their practices…..so they could play under Wilton lights. This is happening before their state championship game and the travel time could be better spent on going over game plans and practices on their own field….if we had lights.
They have been giving 110% to each game and deserve our support.
Come to West Haven this Saturday night and join in the “Go Wreckers, Go” chants.
Go get’em Wreckers…….
Jeff, sorry I did not mean to offend you.
All I was trying to do was help you get your point across as I agree with your stance on this issue. Next time I will refrain from correcting your spelling/grammar mistakes.
Again I apologize – my bad.
