Honoring Our Heritage: 188 Long Lots Road Image
The owners of the house at 188 Long Lots Road, near the Fairfield Hunt Club, are the newest recipients of an historical plaque by the Westport Museum for History and Culture, formerly the Westport Historical Society. Bob Weingarten (r), house historian and plaque coordinator, presented the plaque, identified as the May Peterson Tompkins House, c. 1929, to David and Abigale Levinson and their sons, Cooper, 13, and Quinn, 9.  According to Weingarten, the plaque honors the heritage of the house which was converted from a barn built in 1929 by May Peterson Tompkins and her husband George when it was part of an estate at 200 Long Lots Road.
