Halfway House More Than Halfway Done

Construction of a new Halfway House at Westport’s Longshore Park to replace one destroyed by fire in 2003 is more than halfway completed. A groundbreaking ceremony was held in March with a number of community volunteers who led the successful fund-raising effort of more than $200,000. Completion of the 750-square foot farmhouse-style structure is scheduled for early summer. (CLICK TO ENLARGE) Phyllis Groner for WestportNow.com
