My daughter plays travel soccer on a U9 team in Westport and asked me to take her to see the Staples girls play at New Canaan this past Saturday. We had such a good time watching Staples beat New Canaan 4-1, that we went to watch them play last night in Wilton against Greenwich.
These girls are amazing. They are so exciting and so talented. They are tough and competitive. So enjoyable to watch. They have inspired my daughter to keep playing and working hard so she can play for Staples when she gets to high school.
It was a shame to see them lose last night but we were happy to find out that the season is not over and the States start next week. My daughter and I will be in the stands cheering them on. Go Wreckers!
