Going Down: 29 Sturges Commons

The house at Westport’s 29 Sturges Commons, off Sturges Highway, was demolished today. Built in 1953, the two-story home had 3,265 square feet, was situated on a 1.3-acre property and changed ownership in October for $1,250,000. It was the WestportNow Teardown of the Day on Sept. 21, 2010.  The house was heavily damaged in the March nor’easter, one of 27 Westport houses damaged in that storm.
