Going Down: 15 Turkey Hill Road South (2)

A cottage at Westport’s 15 Turkey Hill Road South was demolished today. Built in circa 1900, the one-story cottage was situated on a two-acre property that had been previously approved for subdivision. The main house, built in 1940, on the property was demolished in March (see WestportNow, March 13, 2012). Ownership of the property changed hands in November 2011 for $2,050,000. Replacement construction of the former main house is underway.  The cottage was the WestportNow Teardown of the Day on Aug. 20, 2012. (CLICK TO ENLARGE) Dave Matlow for WestportNow.com
