Going Down: 14 Beechwood Lane

The house at 14 Beachwood Lane off Westport’s Spicer Road was demolished today. Built in 1969, the one-story split level had 1,824 square feet, was situated on a .55-acre property on a cul-de-sac and changed ownership in February 2008 for $900,000. It was the WestportNow Teardown of the Day on Sept. 3. Today’s demolition was the seventh since Aug.  1, a possible sign of an improving real estate economy.
