The Staples Varsity Girls Ice Hockey team will be sponsoring a free hockey clinic for all middle and high school girls who like to ice skate and/or have an interest in playing girls ice hockey. The event will be held at Westport’s Longshore Club Park on Thursday, March 3, from 6 to 7 p.m.
The Staples players will be teaching various skating and stick handling techniques followed by 3 v 3 games. No ice hockey experience is necessary.
All participants need are ice skates (which can be rented at the rink), a helmet, and a love of skating.
For further information, contact head coach, Pete Alfano. (.(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address)). Participants should have an adult who remains with them at the rink.
Great idea!
