This morning’s opening went quite smoothly (though everyone—staff and students alike—felt like freshmen on the first day of school).
The building is beautiful; the light and space and details will help create a wonderful learning environment. The curve of the architecture contributes to a warm, welcoming feeling.
Walking from the new building into the old one—with its low ceilings, dim lighting, poor air quality and small classrooms—shows starkly how inadequate that school has become. Congratulations and thanks to all who had a hand in helping create this Staples for the 21st century.
