CPYC Presents Best Overall Racing Trophy

John Cooke, (l) chair of the Cedar Point Yacht Club OneDesign Regatta, held in Westport over the weekend, presents the coveted Rex Marine Trophy for best overall racing performance to William Purdy of New York City and his boat, Whirlwind. Almost 500 sailors and 83 boats competed in the regatta, Long Island Sound’s largest. Sailing teams from Westport finished at or near the top across eight classes of boats competing.
