An Oyster Catcher came to shore at South Beach at Compo Beach on Tuesday. Oyster Catchers have been coming to Compo to lay their eggs since at least 2016.. A second bird was spotted a short time later. They may possibly be the nesting pair from last year looking to again attempt raising chicks this year.
