Pompanoosuc Mills, the Vermont-based handcrafted furniture store previously located in the Barnes and Noble shopping center on Post Road East for 10 years, today celebrated its full occupancy at its new location at 222 Post Road West with a ribbon-cutting ceremony led by First Selectman Jim Marpe and Pompanoosuc Mills’ newly appointed store manager, Mike Grob. Pompanoosuc Mills staff member, Dorothy Corona, said, “When we moved here in November it was makeshift. We could only occupy half the store while the other half was under construction.” In its new space, the store replaces Capel Rugs which relocated to the second floor and Pocker Frames which moved down one door.
