Comings & Goings: Pearl Restaurant Closing

The Pearl Restaurant at Longshore will close on Nov. 28 according to managers Marc and Lois Backon. They wrote, “We are so very grateful for being able to bring Pearl into the lives of so many people and appreciate the dedicated support of the staff and of the community for the last four years.” Pearl, which launched in Feb. 2016, will remain open Thanksgiving Day for dining-in or take-out, according the announcement. Last month, WestportNow reported the management change for Inn at Longshore. which includes the space occupied by Pearl (see WestportNow, Oct. 23, 2020).
