Comings & Goings: Kibberia to Post Road West

Kibberia, an eat-in and takeout restaurant specializing in Mediterranean and Middle Eastern cuisine, has opened at 361 Post Road West at the location formerly occupied by John’s Best Pizza.  Co-owners Carole and Nick Iskandar, who also own a restaurant by the same name in Danbury, said, “This is a soft opening for us. We’re going to have a grand opening celebration in early August complete with a belly dancer.” According to Carole Iskandar the menu includes falafel, tabbouleh and other Mediterranean delights in a casual dining atmosphere.  Spacious with seating for 100, according to Carole Iskandar, Kibberia hours are 11 a.m. – 8 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 11 a.m. – 9 p.m. Friday and Saturday, closed Sundays.
