Comings & Goings: Jacadi Out, Chic Jolie In

Jacadi children’s clothing store, 24 Taylor Place, is closing after eight years at its current location and will reopen next week as Chic Jolie, a women’s apparel shop, according to owner Alla Ionescu. Fairfield resident Ionescu said she had operated two Jacadi shops—the one in Westport and one in Greenwich that was sold to new owners in 2007.  The Greenwich store still operates under the Jacadi name. “Our contract as a Jacadi franchise ended and we decided not to renew it,” she said. “Our new shop, Chic Jolie, not a franchise, will carry multiple French brands of women’s apparel and accessories.” She said that the lease at the present location runs for another seven years.
