Comings & Goings: Claire’s Closes on Main Street

Claire’s, the fashion accessories and jewelry store for young women at 45 Main St. in Westport, has closed. According to an employee at neighboring L’Occitane, “I came to work one day and they were gone.”  The manager of the Claire’s store in the Stamford Center said its Westport presence “has been at least 10 years.”  She said she had no idea why it closed.
