Comings & Goings: Cursive to Sconset Square

Cursive, a New York-based retailer of fine paper, jewelry and home and personal accessories, has opened in Westport’s Sconset Square. Co-owned by Doug Duncan and his business partner, Michael Schultz, Cursive traces its origins to October 2005 within ABC Carpets, 19th Street and Broadway, New York and expanded in June 2009 to a second New York location in Grand Central Terminal. “We found that many of our customers were Westport-based commuters so when we looked to break out beyond the city we looked into Westport,” Duncan said. “We were impressed with the town and recognize its growing retail presence.” (CLICK TO ENLARGE) Dave Matlow for WestportNow.com
