Comings and Goings: Wachovia Out, Wells Fargo In

The Wachovia sign on the bank branch at Westport’s 422 Post Road East changed over the weekend to Wells Fargo. According to an employee at the Westport branch, the name change occurred on Saturday for all 70 Wachovia branches in Connecticut. San Francisco-based Wells Fargo took over troubled North Carolina-based Wachovia in December 2008.
