Comings and Goings: Splatterbox to Post Road East

The Splatterbox smART Studio, 1252 Post Road East in the strip of shops that includes Fortuna’s Deli, will open on June 6 according to Stamford resident Kristen Nelson who co-owns the business with her fiance Erick Sabatelli.  Nelson said the studio will provide classes and individual tutoring for children with interests in art as well as for students of all ages and adults. “I’ve always been with kids and want to take it a step further,” she said, adding that her mother is a teacher and a graphic designer, an influence on her interests in helping youths in art.  A grand opening is planned for the 1,800 square foot shop on June 4 and 5.
