Comings and Goings: Saugatuck Butcher Opens

The Saugatuck Craft Butcher shop has opened at 575 Riverside Ave. at the new Saugatuck Center across from Doc’s Cafe. Katherine Fibiger, a principal owner with her husband Ryan, said that although the formal grand opening is scheduled for Nov. 19, the store is open 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. She said that the butcher shop features beef, lamb and pork in addition to accepting orders now for Thanksgiving turkeys and added “all the fresh-killed animals are organically fed.” (CLICK TO ENLARGE) Dave Matlow for WestportNow.com
