Ring’s End, the retailer of lumber, millwork and building supplies, will open at 877 Post Road East in space formerly occupied by Sports Collectibles in the retail strip housing Radio Shack at the intersection with the Sherwood Island Connector. According to an employee in Ring’s End Norwalk location, the Westport store will open in early May and will primarily be a paint center. Ring’s End, founded in 1902 in Darien, originally supplied the surrounding area with coal, grain, hay, feed, and flour by the barrel, according to its website. CEO David Campbell is a former first selectman of Darien. (CLICK TO ENLARGE) Dave Matlow for WestportNow.com
