Comings and Goings: Leonards Furniture Closes

Leonards New England, which sold antique furniture and other items at 1045 Post Road East, Westport has closed “due to the economy,” according to an employee in its Seekonk, Mass. headquarters. Leonards moved into its 1045 Post Road East location in December 2009, replacing Smith & Hawken, a high-end gardening store that went out of business in July 2009.
