Comings and Goings: Indulge by Mersene to Bridge Square

Indulge by Mersene, a new shop that creates personalized luxury gift baskets as described by its owner Mersene Norbom, has opened in the lower level of Bridge Square in the space formerly occupied by Felton’s Fish Market. Norbom, who lived in several Far East countries including Taiwan, Indonesia Thailand, Japan and Hong Kong with her former husband, a corporate executive, said that the cultures influenced her appreciation for personalized gift packaging. Referring especially to her experiences in Japan, she said, “I learned that gift giving is often a way of how it’s presented. In Japan, the smallest store wraps everything so creatively.
