This may end the streak, but even with this loss, let’s not forget the amazing season these boys had. To go undefeated for the entire regular season and win the FCIAC title after losing 2 key players should not go unnoticed. I saw them grit their teeth and fight through a lot, including back injuries, rolled ankles, broken legs, and losing captains. Through it all they maintained the composure and sportsmanship coach Bruce Betts has taught so well. I want to formally congradulate the players on an amazing season. Even with this game, they will leave a winning legacy for future Staples Volleyball players to admire and strive to emulate.
