Changing Face of Elm Street

Work is progressing on a mixed use development on Westport’s Elm Street, scheduled for completion (inset) next spring. The property was part of a land swap involving the town and developer David Waldman. Waldman purchased 36 Elm St. across the street for $4.9 million—now turned into a town-owned parking lot—and agreed to swap it for a portion of a town-owned Elm Street parking lot.
