The Westport Weston Chamber of Commerce (WWCC) is launching a new dinner and concert series titled “Supper & Soul.” The first one is scheduled for Saturday, Jan. 27.

The single ticket event lets participants enjoy a three-course meal at one of five downtown restaurants, then see a concert at the Seabury Center on Church Lane and to return to any of the same restaurants for drinks at happy hour prices, according to Matthew Mandell, WWCC executive director. Tickets are $75 per person.
The first concert will feature the sultry songs of New York’s Dana Fuchs before she heads out on her European tour to promote her latest album.
“I think people are really going to enjoy this new concept, and Dana is going to blow them away,” Mandell said.
“This is an entire evening right in downtown Westport,” he added. “You get to eat a great meal, be professionally entertained and can even have a nightcap. This is date night in a bottle, or simply a chance to hang with friends.”
The five participating restaurants are: Amis, Boca, Rothbard Ale + Larder, The Spotted Horse, and Tavern on Main, each within two blocks of the Seabury Center.
“What a great promotion for the area,” said Marc Murphy, the manager of The Spotted Horse. “We were in the second it was pitched. The Chamber continues to find ways to support all of us, and in innovative ways too.”
The dinner seating will take place at 6 p.m. with the concert beginning at 8, Mandell said. Tickets can be bought online through the WWCC, and reservations are on a first come, first served basis. Drinks and tips are not included in the price of the ticket.
