Celebrating Shirley Mellor’s 90th

Friends and former colleagues got together today to help Westporter Shirley Mellor (l) celebrate her 90th birthday at the Westport Woman’s Club. Mellor was the longtime owner of Max’s Art Supplies, which had been a Westport mecca for artists for 59 years before its closing in August 2015. She posed with longtime former employee Nina Royce, now resident in Oregon. (CLICK TO ENLARGE) Lynn U. Miller for WestportNow.com
