Matt Kane, 20, of Fairfield was the winner in today’s annual Turkey Trot. A junior at Villanova University, he is on the track team in the 5K and 10K events. A major in biology and economics, Kane is a graduate of Andrew Warde High School as is the first female finisher, Meg Ryan.  Today was the third year that Kane participated in the Pequot race. “Today was my personal best time in this event,” he said. His winning time was 25 minutes, 3 seconds. Kane ran in this race in 2007 and 2008 but not last year because he said he had a broken hand. Full results are available here.
