Do You Know Me? Found in Morningside North Area

Black and white, declawed cat is lost in Westport
This cat has been living in my front bushes for almost two weeks. I feed her and even bought her a little dog house. I’ve posted fliers but I’m frantic for it—it’s declawed. If no one claims it soon, I think I have to give it to the CT Humane Society. I’ve called them, Westport Animal Control, Save our Strays, and Paws in Norwalk as well as several vets in town. I just don’t know what else to do. Please help. If you know where this cat belongs, please call 226-5151 or contact me via email at jildam00 at yahoo dot com (CLICK TO ENLARGE) Jilda Manikas

UPDATE: Princess (Macy) was found—safe and sound but a lot skinnier—about 2 miles away from home. She’s very happy to be home.

Macy (formerly known as Princess) ran away from home (now in the Wallingford area) on Friday, February 2. She is a 10-year-old, spayed female shepherd mix. She will answer to Macy or Princess. She does not have home information I.D. but does have her CT Humane Society tags. She is very shy and may require a great deal of coaxing to get her to go with you. She does love car rides. Her family is frantic! She is originally from the Bridgeport area so may be headed here (she was adopted from the CT Humane Society here in Westport!)

Please contact Marcie at (203) 221-7356 if you have any information about Macy.

Urgent: Black Lab Found UPDATE: I’ve Been Adopted

Labrador Retriever needs a home
UPDATE: Nobody claimed Blackie—but he now has a home because he was adopted from Westport Animal Control. Hi, I’m being called “Blackie” because they don’t know what my real name is. Westport Animal Control found me—my battery collar was still attached so they figure I escaped from my yard. The nice people at Animal Control have put me up for adoption because they can’t find my owners—so if I’m yours, PLEASE call them at 203-341-5076 right away. The Violette family is seeking help in finding their cat Moses who has been missing from their home at 121 North Ave. since last Friday.  Nancy Violette messaged WestportNow: “He is well known and liked in the neighborhood by neighbors and pets alike. He is known for sunning himself just outside the electric fences on Kensington Place to tease the safeguarded pooches…We miss him terribly.”  Moses was not wearing a collar. If you spot him, call (203)226-1898. (CLICK TO ENLARGE) Contributed photo
