The occasion is next month’s publication of “Boats Against the Current: The Honeymoon Summer of Scott and Zelda: Westport, Connecticut 1920.”

The book by writer Richard “Deej” Webb Jr. is a companion to “Gatsby in Connecticut: The Untold Story,” a documentary he and filmmaker Robert Steven Williams (both Westporters) have been working on for more than six years. It will air on public television in the fall.

The Times and other publications over the years have highlighted the debate among Gatsby aficionados over where the novel is primarily set.
