Their campaign dubbed Westport Local Love lets consumers buy a Local Love card for $40 and then use it for discounts up to 20 percent at more than 100 town businesses, including retailers, salons, spas, restaurants, even the Westport Playhouse.

“Not only is this campaign a wonderful push for consumers to shop local this holiday season, but a portion of the proceeds will also go toward building a playground in downtown Westport,” said Colleen Angione-Wiedmann, communications director for the Westport Downtown Merchants Association (WDMA).

“The WDMA is thrilled to support this campaign, along with the Westport Weston Chamber of Commerce and the Town of Westport,” she added.

The campaign runs from 8 a.m. Friday through 10 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 9.
