Boomer. Westport Animal Control
Boomer the 2-year-old beagle has been adopted He’s a sweet little fellow that is rebounding nicely after being abandoned in a parking lot in Westport. He is affectionate and is enjoying all the attention he is receiving from staff and volunteers. While you can’t see it in the photo, Boomer has a condition called micro-ophthalmia of his left eye diagnosed at his recent trip to Schulhof Animal Hospital in Westport. He may or may not have any eye tissue on his left side but it will be “cleaned out” and surgically sealed at the time of his neutering surgery which will be funded by Westport Animal Shelter Advocates (WASA). Boomer does appear to get along well with other dogs. Clearly this young fellow hasn’t had the best start in life but he is ready for a new, loving and forever home – and we’re ready to help him find it!
