“Art Smart” at Coleytown Elementary School

First graders at Westport’s Coleytown Elementary School proudly hold their first Art Smart project after studying the art of making a quilt in America. Art Smart is a recent program implemented in the elementary schools involving volunteer parents who teach different art techniques pertaining to what the children are studying. Three to four projects are created during the year, and in early May all the schools will have a “Museum Night” during which each class has a chance to display two of their projects.
