Art Crowd

There was a large turnout tonight for the opening reception for “Tête-à-Tête: Reinventing the Conversation Bench” exhibit at the Westport Arts Center. A joint effort of the Center and the Westport Arts Advisory Committee, it runs through March 16.  The exhibition features artists who re-imagine and reinvent the Victorian-era conversation bench — also known as a “tête-à-tête,” courting bench, conversation bench, kissing bench and gossip’s chair.
