Alums Help Celebrate Staples Boys Soccer 50th Anniversary

Scores of alumni, from the classes of 1958 through 2008, returned to Loeffler Field on Saturday for the Staples boys soccer program’s 50th celebration. Many of the alums – now scattered around the country, working in law, medicine, education, entertainment and many other fields – posed at halftime of the Wreckers’ 6-0 win over Stamford. The alums also enjoyed social gatherings, food, and an enormous round-robin soccer tournament (the classes of the 1990s were victorious). (CLICK TO ENLARGE) Carl McNair for WestportNow.com
