Al’s Angels Prepare Thanksgiving Meals

Al’s Angels founder Al DiGuido of Westport, talks with volunteers. An estimated 150 volunteers, many from Westport, gathered today at a Gault warehouse in Bridgeport to prepare 1,600 Thanksgiving meal bins distributed by Westport-based nonprofit Al’s Angels to needy families throughout the tri-state area. Consistent with COVID-19 health guidelines the annual food assembly event was held outdoors, for the first time, with individual temperature tests and adherence to mask-wearing protection.
