The house at Westport’s 8 Melon Patch Lane, off North Avenue near Cross Highway, was demolished on Wednesday. Built in 1972, the 1 1/2-story cape had 2,992 square feet, ws situated on a 1.54-acre cul-de-sac property and changed hands in February at $1,245,000.
