All Gone: 4 Bluewater Hill

The house at 4 Bluewater Hill in Westport’s Compo Beach area has been demolished. Built in 1954, the 2,441-square-feet, one-story ranch house was situated on a .84-acre lot, purchased in August 2008 for $2,225,000 and was the WestportNow Teardown of the Day on Feb. 3.  It is the first demolition of a Westport house in 2009, another indication of the economic slowdown.
