All Gone: 10 Pumpkin Hill

The house at 10 Pumpkin Hill was demolished today as neighbor John Love watched. Built in 1958, the split level was situated on a 1.2 acre property and changed hands in July at $1,250,000. It was the WestportNow Teardown of the Day on July 16, 2007. Love, 82, a retired Cadbury Schweppes executive who has lived on the street since 1963 with his wife Betty, said, “There are now only three of us left on the street,” referring to original homeowners.
