A Westporter in the New York Marathon

Dorrie Harris was among Westporters who competed in today’s 2015 TCS NYC Marathon. Today was her third New York marathon, coming in with a respectable time of 4 hours 47 minutes. Harris, who is an avid runner as well as 20-plus year volunteer EMT for the Westport Volunteer Emergency Medical Service (WVEMS), says this year may have come in slower than her other marathons, but this was by far her most fun. She is pictured at mile 17.5. (CLICK TO ENLARGE) Jaime Bairaktaris for WestportNow.com
